Three New Starbucks Outlets

Within around a year period, three (3) new Startbucks Coffee shops were opened and fully-operational here in in Amador County. The very first Starbucks Coffee outlet that opened in Amador County is located in Industrial Boulevard Shopping Center, where the old-mill turned shopping center. The first Starbucks Coffee is located in the same building as the newly opened Quisnoz Sandwiches, located in the other side of the street where McDonalds is.

When the new Safeway Supermarket opened in their new location at Industrial Boulevard Shopping Center, another Starbucks Coffes Shop opened, located inside the Safeway Supermarket itself, which is definitely convenient for a lot of grocery shoppers who shop at Safeway and want to have a quick snack. All they have to do is grab a coffee to-go or dine-in, conveniently located in the main entrance of the supermarket.

Late last 2007, we noticed a new building under construction near Raleys area, along the highway. And we later found out that one of the new vacant space in the building will house another Starbucks Coffee Shop. The other day, when we went to Jackson, we noticed that this third Starbucks Coffee is already operational and open for business.

During these freezing and cold winter temperatures, the availability of Starbucks Coffee shoops in Amador County are definitely a warm addition for many coffee lovers and those who want to grab great coffee either on-the-go or as dine-in!

Still Covered With Snow

Some parts of Amador County are still covered with snow specially many places in Pioneer. But snow-covered areas can be found as slow as lower-Pioneer and Pine Grove area, which you normally dont see every winter season. In most cases, snows that fall in lower elevations like lower parts of Pioneer, and Pine Grove will not last very long, they usually just melted as soon as the snow landed in the ground, but these past few days have been a different scenery, you can see snow all over the unplowed roadside in Hwy 88, and many establishments in Pioneer and Pine Grove still have snow in the roof and in the ground, some plowed and filed up in the sides of parking areas and driveways.

So if you are looking for some fun in the snow, you dont have to travel very far these days. You can expect snow scenes not only in the mountain areas but as well as parts of the foothills in California. So if you are planning to travel towards the Sierra-Nevada mountains, it would be best if you have car chains handy with you to make sure that you have something to use, when the snow storm continues to pour more snow!
